This singles group offers a caring fellowship, social activities, and many opportunites for spiritual and personal growth. The Independents is the single adult ministry of First United Methodist Church of Blue Springs, MO. Throughout the week, The Independents sponsor various activities such as dinners, movie nights, volleyball, pickleball, dances, game nights, plays, concerts, and trips. I played competitive sand doubles in FL and since coming to KC, there are obviously a lot less sand volleyball players here. However, we have been able to get a great mix of people (sand, grass & indoor players) who like to come out, play in the sun, and then hang after for some drinks.
