Welcome to the West Suburban Volleyball Group! We are a diverse group of volleyballers from the Western Suburbs, stationed mostly in Oak Park, just 15 minutes west of the Loop. Most of our players have played in High School and College and maintain a high level of competitiveness. Check out each MeetUp to see the level of play for that day. It's really difficult to meet other couples or parents in their mid-30's who have kids the same age as ours (10, 11, and 13). Just about everyone we meet either has kids our boys' ages but are in their mid-to-late 40's/early 50's but don't enjoy the same types of activities we do; OR they are couples who are into our types of activities but have no kids, or really young kids who still require constant supervision or can't enjoy the common activities/events due to age. The Young Adult Ministry Sports Leagues in the Northwest Suburbs of Illinois have been bringing Young Adult Catholics and Christians together for the past seven years. Our programs began with a softball league in the summer of 2004 and a volleyball league in the fall of 2004 and thus far have produced four marriages and numerous friendships.

We are a social group dedicated to the celebration of being TALL! Most of our members are single women 5'10"+ and men 6'2"+ and the group offers a wide variety of activities including travel, live music, house parties, sporting events, team trivia, dinner cruises and more. Couples are also welcome. The important thing is to love having fun with other tall people!
